Group 2:  Joshua’s Covenant Renewal at Shechem (Joshua 3:1-5:12, 8:30-35, 23:1-16, 24:1-27)
            Repetition and Re-enactment.  Remember!

Group 3:  Deborah and Jael (Judges  4-5)
            Prose vs. Poem.  Even a woman…

Group 4:  Gideon and Abimelech (Judges 6-9)
            Judge / Anti-Judge; “God is your King!” vs. “My-Father-Is-King”

Group 5:  Jephthah  (Judges 10-12)
            Child Sacrifice revisited – the “foolish oath”?

Group 6:  Samson (Judges 13-16)
            The downward spiral – from leader to lone “hero”
