(1) The denominator of the middle expression of formula (1.12) on page 13 needs to be changed from “(1 + t)t ” to “(1 + i)i ”.
(2) The left side of formula (4.31a) on page 134 needs to be changed from “ i + i/ ” to “ 1 + i/ ”.
(3) The last term in the formula immediately above formula (4.38) on page 138 needs to be changed

(6) The answer to Chapter 3 Exercise #38 needs to be changed in the back of the text from 14.5 to 13.37543.
(7) In Chapter 6 Exercise #38, the word “tears” needs to be changed to the word “years”.
(8) In ???????????, the word “matter” needs to be changed to the word “manner”.
