1.     No information about a topic is completely bad.  (Does this mean that a person not possessing any information at all about a topic is in a bad situation, or does this mean that any piece of information a person possesses about a topic will do at least some good?)

 

2.     Sandy has delegated power.  (Does this mean that Sandy has delegated power to others, or does this mean that Sandy has been given power that was delegated to her by others?)

 

3.     No hat looks good on her.  (Does this mean that she does not look good no matter what hat she wears, or does this mean that she looks good when not wearing a hat?)

 

4.     She was determined to be ready to fly the plane by her instructor.  (Does this mean that she possessed the determination to be ready to fly the plane beside her instructor, or does this mean that her instructor determined that she was ready to fly the plane?)
