Old Main served as a building for classrooms, offices and dormatories and was really several buildings that were fused together. Additionally, there was a bridge to Bradley Hall that can be seen on the right of the building in two of these cards. Note also, the train tracks ran right by the college, and would stop there to drop students off. There were dozens of different postcards featuring Old Main, and they were also popular with the users; these are by far the easiest vintage Lycoming College cards to find. From the bottom card, one can see that Old Main was also combined with a bit of J.W. Riley verse in an early fund raising campaign.
